		<description>Dear NH

In 1755, when he was being persecuted by Massachusetts authorities who suspected he was behind the publication of a pamphlet that mocked them without mercy, Daniel Fowle, the founder of this paper, wrote:

“[W]hen there is the least Encroachment [on civil liberties] act like Men; fear not stern Countenances, the Threats of a Prison, nor the rattling of Chains; but imitate the noble Courage of your Fathers … For should you act an inglorious Part, and they could rise out of their Graves, you would not be acknowledged as their Children, but the degenerate Plants of a strange Vine.”

Trust us on this: we try to always edit the paper as if Daniel Fowle were able to read it. You are entitled to your opinion, but as for judgment, it&#039;s Daniel&#039;s we&#039;re concered with.

As to Mrs. Palin and the bathing suit: Perhaps we&#039;re wrong about this, but it seems that the sight of a potential U.S. president posing in a bathing suit and high heels during a beauty pageant does not strike you as terrifying and hilarious at the same time. If that is the case you have our condolences, but there is nothing we can do to help you.

My God, what a scandal. Call out the police, arrest this woman for for for, I dunno make up something quickly! Please...

Chickenhawks? Is this a new feature about sexual predators who like little boys? Because that is what the term &quot;chickenhawks&quot; means..
