Sincerity or Mockery?
Monday, July 6, 2009 — After a month of clouds and rain, and eight years of executive lunacy, yesterday Portsmouth’s own Leftist Marching Band got to usher in a new weather pattern and a new year for the nation.
The Hannity School of Political Philosophy would no doubt argue that this ragtag mob only taught itself to play You’re a Grand Old Flag and America the Beautiful in order to be better prepared to bring the nation to its knees.
In savage mimicry of Fox “News,” we’ll present the evidence, and let the viewer determine the LMB’s intent, as well as the response of the audience.

Clearly The LMB is planning to usurp middle America’s ownership of patriotic songs, putting them to some prurient use known only to the commie pinkos known to be swelling their ranks. And to think, they are subverting children with their lies!!

Bea — Terrifying as your assessment is, we fear that it may actually understate the threat posed by this ragtag collection of chronic malcontents. How dare they hide behind the First Amendment in order to implicitly criticise our government by pointing out its failure to fully embody the ideals that are explicitly stated in our sacred Constitution? Its a ploy! They clearly are trying to win the hearts of anyone who likes to hear toe-tapping versions of old American classics. Their energy and enthusiasm is contagious…Run for your lives!
