Ralph Eugene Reed, Jr.
June 24, 1961
In late 1983, this ostentatiously moral individual could have been selflessly putting his life on the line to valiantly defend U.S. students in Grenada against an imaginary threat which could conceivably have been posed by Cuban Communists, should they have happened to have been totally insane. Instead, this baby-faced boy wonder was licking his metaphorical wounds after being fired from the staff of The Red and the Black, the University of Georgia student newspaper. Reed had submitted an article denouncing the Indian arch-pacifist Mohandas Ghandi which liberally plagiarized an article that had been published in the neo-con magazine Commentary.
