Jon Vincent Voight
Chickenhawk First Class with Distinguished Fleeing Cross
December 29, 1938
Jon Voight protested against the Vietnam War while it was going on. He played a disabled Vietnam vet on the big screen after it was over. At that time, disabled vets who had fought were being systematically denied treatment and benefits. So far as we know, Voight never protested that. Towards the end of George W. Bush's second term, the only thing Voight was protesting was people who were protesting Bush's wars. Our diagnosis: hardening of the cerebral atteries.
