Order Away

We've had a few hiccups with our online subscription sales system, but it seems to be behaving properly. If it should happen to give you any trouble, please e-mail us at: editors (at) nhgazette.com.

Chickenhawks?

We're in the process of herding our flock of chickenhawks from the old site over to this one. Please, be patient; timid creatures that they are, they're not that easy to move.

My sister-in-law moved to Portsmouth, NH and gave us a year’s subscription to your paper. We loved it, that is why we are getting another year. Keep up the good work, it’s refreshing to read an honest and forthright newspaper not bought out by large corporations. — Ty & Brenda

It is a little tricky getting a copy of the paper even here in the seacoast. Have you thought about a PDF copy on the website? I think you guys used to do that.

rib –

We’re considering a PDF subscription. If we go that route and make it work, we’ll announce it on the site, for sure.

Hello,
I noticed on my 10/5/7 edition of the NHG that it says my subscription is expiring. My current subscription was a gift from Terri Neill. However, my stepmum gave me a subscription for xmas last year as well.
Can I get another year since I never got my second subscription and my stepmum was a little distracted about it?
Thank you,
Candace Saric

Candace

We just took care of that. We added your Stepmum’s gift to the original subscription. You’re good for another year. Sorry about the confusion, and thanks for setting us straight.

With every book I read, and with every website update I peruse, it becomes clearer that our beloved republic is sliding into a shiny, happy, consumer-friendly fascist state. It can be really depressing.

I realize that I made a grievous error in allowing my subscription to the Gazette to have lapsed for so long. It is your straight talk and sense of humor that helped take the edge off the dark years of the first Dubya term, and I want my sardonic smile back.

Keep up the great work, and here’s my subscription money.

My subscription expired 11/30/07. I may renew it soon, but was wondering why I get your paper in the mail here outside Boston 2 weeks after the publication date. I go to Portsmouth a lot, but when I get the paper most of the local events adverted in the Gazette are over. Any way to speed up delivery??

Thanks, Mike M

Mike:

Now that we have upgraded our mailings to First Class, we’re sure you’ll get the paper in a much more timely fashion.
