Monday, July 23 — Time to impeach, that is.
Readers familiar with the paper know that we are in the habit of taking serious things lightly. That is not the case here.
We’re presently fairly busy hammering together our next issue, which we expect will be on the street this Friday, as usual. But we’re taking time out here, in response to several urgent e-mails from subscribers, to draw attention to what begins to look like a serious effort to impeach Cheney and Bush.
John Conyers, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, says that if three more members of Congress sign on to co-sponsor House Resolution 333, he’ll start impeachment proceedings against Dick Cheney.
New Hampshire’s Representatives, Paul Hodes (202) 225-5206 and Carol Shea-Porter (202) 225-5456, are not co-sponsors.
Yet.
