The Return of Father Coughlin

Friday, April 16, 2010 — While rummaging around in the archives recently we came across our little collection of Father Coughlin’s rag, Social Justice; we’ve got eight copies, all published in 1941. It was gratifying to rediscover them, given Father Coughlin’s recent reincarnation. We spent an hour or two trying to read some of this drivel. It was a waste of time, so we gave it up. We hope that whoever may be running the Gazette in 2078 will have the sense to do the same if they should come across a transcript of Glenn Beck’s program.
